“The only constant is change.” - François de la Rochefoucauld
As a whole, the Hmongs have endured a long battle with change. From aiding an ally that was on the losing side of a war that ultimately resulted in a mass exodus, seeking refuge in a non receptive neighboring country, to adapting to modern Western social norms, we Hmongs know a thing or two about change. Our stories are rarely heard, while the negative media attention has garnered national attention.
Hmongism is more than a movement towards equality. It is the movement of a new generation of Hmongs that have developed their own identities in a constantly changing world. Fusing old school tradition with modern theme, we are able to ensure the success of our future. And in the process of adaptation, this generation will encounter a renaissance of creativity and uniqueness that we have yet to see from within this community.
Join us as we showcase the many talents of this new generation and read the monthly articles that will address and examine the emergence of a cultural revolution from within a small and untapped community of individuals who are working to make an impact in this world. Hmongism is alive and well in all of us.
Stay tuned for the full build up of this site.
